If your idea of “facts” is the stupid nonsense that goes around on the Web, you’ll never learn the truth. These same old lies go around and around and around because nobody checks them.
Same with the mythic story he was supposed to have said on his deathbed “the microbe is nothing the terrain is everything”. If you take the trouble to read his biography (instead of the scammy sources) you will realize that no such thing could ever have happened.
