I was in a fight or flight situation, adrenaline pumping and then
I had a very bad chest and neck pain. I mean it hurt.
A cardiologist had me take a stress test. I was put on a tread mill, sensors
attached, then injected with something. I was then put in a machine in a horizontal position. I had to remain very still while the machine took pictures
as it rotated and stopped at intervals. Had I taken a pet scan?

Is 40 % clogged aorta and hardened the cause of the symptom I described?

Well, on the good side you are still here!
This issue is really one about the mathematical odds. Taking everyone together, a CAT scan is a bad idea, on average.
But any one individual can have a good experience!
Unnecessary scans are a bad idea but given that you have the problem anyway, I wouldn’t hesitate to continue with scans.
You don’t say if you are taking diet steps, herbs, nutrients etc. I hope so.
