It may be a little bit misguided but it seems to me ALL HEART. A couple of women in Brazil, bless ‘em, are trying to replicate COVID mRNA vaccines on the cheap, so that even poor countries can benefit.

[You may recall arch-creep Bill Gates refusing vaccines to poorer countries, because he didn’t get the dollars. It was a “pay me or die” stance. Sums him up to a Satanic-T]

Thing is, I’m not kidding. This heart-warming story broke from NPR (National Public Radio), Sept 9th, 2024. A couple of longtime BFs (best friends, I believe, in social media speak) actually launched an audacious attempt to break the Big Pharma monopoly on vaccines, by creating their own!

Patricia Neves and Ana Paula Ano Bom had been dismayed at Moderna and Pfizer’s unwillingness to share their know-how during the pandemic, leaving people in low- and middle-income countries like Brazil waiting to get the supposedly life-saving vaccines for months after they’d been made widely available in wealthy countries.

So they decided to invent their own version of an mRNA vaccine against COVID, then offer up the patent and the manufacturing process to vaccine makers around the world, essentially for free.

I find very muddled thinking here… As if the Big Boys would just buy the ladies’ patents cheaply and then offer the gift to the world for free. I think a more likely scenario is they would buy up their patents and then put them on the shelf, just to prevent anyone bypassing the extremely lucrative money game. Indeed, I would worry for their safety, that Big Pharma might even just pay a few dollars to have them assassinated; the cost of human life is very cheap in Brazil.

Albert Bourla, the Pfizer chief, might be very tempted, to protect his obscene $50 million “bonus” payout.

Beyond COVID

I’m not saying a support or believe in the COVID mRNA shot. Of course I don’t. This is not a story about fake COVID science. It’s a story or two women taking on the might of Pfizer and Moderna and winning!

The two wonderful, if naïve, ladies planned to target plenty of other viruses beyond COVID. As you know, these vaccines work by inserting a recipe into the body — the mRNA strand — that teaches cells to build a piece of the targeted virus that the body’s immune system gears up to attack. That way when a person is infected with the actual virus, the body is ready for it. 

So Neves and Ano Bom’s vision was to essentially build their mRNA COVID vaccine as a plug-and-play system that could be quickly adapted to carry mRNA strands against all sorts of other disease threats as they emerged around the world.

This is not as absurd as it sounds. Neves, an immunologist, originally conceived of the idea because before the pandemic she’d been working with mRNA as part of a project to create a vaccine-like treatment for breast cancer. 

Ano Bom is a biochemist who works at the same institution as Neves — the Bio-Manguinhos Fiocruz Foundation, which is Brazil’s premier public agency for vaccine research and development. Ano Bom had already gained expertise working on an encapsulation process for the breast cancer effort. 

So they packed some pretty formidable skills.

But best of all, the two women — who have been close since they attended college together two decades ago — share an unusual zest for going after goals even scientists at their own institution initially considered unrealistic.

“Yeah,” said Ano Bom at the time, “We are innovative and — I don’t know — maybe crazy.”

You gotta love those gals!

The Big Problem

The big problem facing their effort (I almost wrote “hairbrained idea”) was to figure out how to devise a tiny fat (lipid) particle to encase the mRNA so that it remains intact once inserted into the body. But, as it happened, Neves had an ideal partner for that challenge in her pal Ano Bom.

In the end, they used an encapsulation process that was entirely their own invention and it worked.

“Our strategy was to escape as much as possible the [existing] patents,” notes Neves. “We designed our elements [to be] different from the ones that Moderna and Pfizer are using.”

Remarkably (I think) the WHO decided to back them. And… presto… in mouse studies the Brazil team’s vaccine has been shown “100% effective” against COVID. 

They also cleared another hurdle: setting up a manufacturing facility in Brazil that meets the rigorous safety standards needed to produce vaccine doses at the scale required for the next phase of development. It’s the first facility of its kind in Latin America, says Neves.

Next month the team will begin a final round of safety studies in animals. If all goes well, by the middle of next year they’ll launch clinical trials in people.

Other Diseases

Meanwhile, Brazil’s Ministry of Health has expanded the team’s mission—and funding—to create mRNA vaccines against multiple other diseases.

These pathogens include leishmaniasis, Oropouche (even I had to look that one up!), mPox and RSV—and their candidate mRNA vaccine against RSV is already in animal studies. They’re also researching ways to use the technology they’ve developed in various therapies.

“We started as four people and a dream,” says Neves, referring to herself, Ano Bom, a third colleague who contributed early work and Sotiris Missailidis, the then-head of research and development at their agency. According to Neves, “Missailidis was the person who believed in us since the beginning,” scraping together a few tens of thousands of dollars for the team to launch back when higher ups were dismissing their proposal as essentially ludicrous.

A few $10,000s for research? It makes a joke out of the pharmaceutical industry’s claim they need $billions for research. I mean, why not take a few $100s of millions out of their profits, if they really needed it? They would hardly miss it.

Of course it’s just a lie, to justify their gouging prices.

Awards

The womens’ work has also gained increasing international recognition. Unlike the pharmaceutical companies, Neves and Ano Bom are not working for profit—and that prompted the Argentina-based Ibero American Society of Neonatology (SIBEN) to honor them with a specially created “Altruism Award for the Improvement of World Health.”

But the two also stress that the science that has led to all this has not been easy.

“Oh my God!” says Neves as both she and Ano Bom erupt in laughter, “It’s been hard work. A lot, a lot of hard work!”

“I personally never imagined we would achieve what we achieved,” says Neves. “I still don’t believe it.”

“In the beginning of this journey, we told each other we will never fight over the work.” Not only have they kept that vow, she says, they’ve grown closer — taking turns being the one who gets discouraged and the one who bucks the other up.

“I think our friendship, it will be forever,” says Ana Paula Ano Bom. “We’re casca de bala!” — a Brazilian (Portuguese) expression that literally translates as the candy and the wrapper. They also say their close bond is key to their success in the lab.

I hope you will agree: a wonderful story of humanity and triumph, while Big Pharma continues its mining of human suffering for monetary gain.

In a startling video message (Aug 18^th, 2021), Pope Francis joined his voice to those of Bishops across North and South America to urge people to get jabbed against COVID-19. He even praised the work of researchers and scientists in producing safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines!

Pope Francis, God’s Appointed Health Minister on Earth?

How did he know it was “safe and effective”? God whispered in his ear? (I doubt it). Glorying in his own power base? Quite likely; every chicken-poop politician did the same. Abuse of power? Of course! What have medical treatments and science have to do with “Christ’s Vicar on Earth”? He knows NOTHING about medicine. His job is supposedly pastoral support for the faithful and to keep them focused on the Almighty, not pushing untried drug therapy.

But he wasn’t doing his own job. He was working as PR consultant for Pfizer and the rest. In other words, a somehow-corrupted slimy front man for Big Pharma. 

“Thanks to God’s grace and to the work of many, we now have vaccines to protect us from COVID-19,” the Pope said in the video. All those scientists who cast doubts on his Holiness’s words, go to Hell I suppose (literally). No room for dissenting science in the Roman Catholic church (as ever, over the centuries).

In January 2021, Francis and Pope Benedict XVI were among the first to receive COVID injections, with Pfizer supplying the Holy See with its injections. Both men subsequently received boosters of the injection in the months following. But what were they ACTUALLY injected with? It’s smart to be suspicious they got the “safe” stuff!

“When the first supplies arrived at the Vatican, I scheduled my vaccination immediately,” said Francis. “Later I got the boosters as well, and, thanks be to God, I have not caught the virus.” 

Yes, well, I and uncountable others have not had the vaccine and we have not had COVID either (not even a sniffle!)

Vaccination Is “An Act Of Love”

This crackpot Pope went on to say that getting a COVID jab is an “act of love.” What? Setting your family up for death or infirmity by administering a completely untried and untested-for-safety vaccine (which, it emerged, killed millions) is an act of love? You clown! Who put you up to being the stooge for the army of greedy, abusive, criminal and destructive perverts in medical and pharmaceutical commerce?

Helping others do the same [get the vaccine], he said, is also an act of love. “Love for oneself, love for our families and friends, and love for all peoples. Love is also social and political.” What exactly is “political love”? I have no idea. It sounds like an oxymoron.

Pope Francis then prayed to God that “each one of us can make his or her own small gesture of love.” It’s like communist “freedom”: you are completely free to vote or act any way you choose, provided you think and act the way the Communist Party tells you to!

Ah, but here’s a clue to what’s going on. Popey (bit like Popeye, haha!) was chicken-yeller scared. He passed a Vatican mandate that everyone around him had to be vaccinated, removing the option to test “negative” for the virus, and allowing only proof of recovery from the virus as an alternative to the injection. As late as January 2023, COVID shots were still required for reporters wishing to join the Pope on papal journeys—a mandate which expired only in April of 2023.

In 2024, he’s still mouthing off, issuing fresh condemnation of critics of COVID-19 injections, saying that opposition to the shots “distressed” him since “being against the antidote is an almost suicidal act of denial.”

I don’t think he has even read any science. Since when is a vaccine an antidote? And does this pontiff not get there are MILLIONS of people around the world who will regret, to their dying day, that they committed this “act of love”?

Hypocrisy

I’ve often thought that the words Pope and hypocrisy go hand in hand, though like the world at large, I somewhat loved Pope John 23^rd, even though I’m not a Christian.*

Here’s the hypocrisy: Pfizer, the main player in the COVID war against humanity, produces abortion pills! The Vatican has always condemned abortion. But it’s worse than that: manufacture of COVID-19 injections involves testing using the HEK 293 cell line, which is derived from kidney tissue taken from a healthy baby who was aborted in the Netherlands in the 1970s. 

That ethical conundrum apparently didn’t bother the old goat: Francis secretly met twice with Pfizer CEO Francis Bourla during 2021, with Bourla also invited to speak at a Vatican-hosted health conference.

Why in secret? Does he know that Bourla is one of the greatest enemies of Humankind the 21^st century has so far produced and that he was hobnobbing with The Devil? I doubt it. I don’t think he knows much, actually, reading his pronouncements. But ignorant fools are dangerous…

Hitting Out At Colleagues

Popey also made a thinly-veiled condemnation of Cardinal Raymond Burke, who voiced strong opposition to the injections.

“There were even a few anti-vaxxers among the bishops: some came close to death,” he stated, echoing a veiled dig he made at the American cardinal in the 2021 video, who fell ill, supposedly with COVID.

Particularly during the height of COVID-19 related restrictions, Francis regularly pushed the “moral obligation” of taking an abortion-tainted jab as being an “act of love.” As early as late summer 2020, he suggested that “everyone” must take the COVID-19 vaccine. “I believe that, ethically, everyone should take the vaccine,” he said. And added “it must be done.” I thought God was the only entity to issue mandates? (10 of them!)

But that does not assuage colleagues who are deeply ethical and concerned: Cardinal Burke stated in May 2020 that “[I]t is never morally justified to develop a vaccine through the use of cell lines of aborted fetuses” and that the thought of it being injected into one’s body is “rightly abhorrent.” He noted also that such a vaccination may not be imposed “in a totalitarian manner” on citizens.

Similar criticisms of the injections have also been repeatedly issued by prelates such as Bishop Athanasius Schneider. In a seminal intervention of December 12, 2020, Bishop Athanasius Schneider—along with co-signers Cardinal Janis?Pujats, Bishop Joseph Strickland, and Archbishops Tomash?Peta and Jan Pawel Lenga—expressed their strong conviction that any use of a vaccine tainted with the “unspeakable crime” of abortion, under any circumstances, “cannot be acceptable for Catholics.”

Not what your boss says, boys!

From the start, numerous studies and many thousands of scientists and leading health professionals, including Nobel Prize winners, and medics have testified to the unprecedented level of injuries and deaths, following and resulting from the COVID injections. The latest conservative estimate is that over 17 million worldwide died from receiving the injections making this the worst man-caused medical catastrophe in history.

As of February 23, 2024, the U.S. Federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) reports 37,231 deaths, 214,906 hospitalizations, 21,524 heart attacks, and 28,214 myocarditis and pericarditis case, among other ailments. 

VAERS reports are technically unconfirmed. But U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) researchers have at last recognized a “high verification rate of reports of myocarditis to VAERS after mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccination,” leading to the conclusion that “under-reporting is more likely” than overreporting. 

It is known that VAERS gets less than 1% of adverse events. That would be 3.7 million deaths in the USA alone.

An April 2022 study out of Israel indicates that COVID infection itself cannot fully account for the myocarditis numbers, despite common insistence to the contrary. 

Set all this suffering against the claim that there were only 7 million UN-massaged deaths**, and only about 17 million deliberately exaggerated figures for mortality, and you will see why one of your favorite MDs is horrified at this stupid and unnecessary Papal intervention.

OK, down to business…

As you know, I have a summer home in France. The French have some funny ways, to say the least, BUT one shining light is that every year they produce a list of junk pharma drugs that are “more dangerous than useful”.

If only every country had such a list!

Trouble is, the drugs are still available in France; just deprecated. 

The 2024 list (105 drugs) includes a cough medicine and an antibiotic. Each year for the past 12 years, the specialist medical review Prescrire has published an updated list of medicines whose serious side-effects are considered to be too risky or severe in comparison to the treatment they are intended to provide.

People are warned to avoid the medicines on the list, and doctors are advised to find alternatives when prescribing.

However 88 out of the 105 drugs are still available and can be legally prescribed. So Big Pharma scamming and lazy doctors are preventing the door being completely closed on this dangerous junk.

The most commonly used drugs on this year’s list include:

Moxifloxacin (sold under brands including Izilox). An antibiotic. This is “no more effective than other [antibiotics]”, the review said, but offers a greater risk of acute liver failure and heart problems.

Oxomemazine (Toplexil or other). A cough reliever. This “exposes patients to disproportionate adverse effects”, Prescrire said.

Aceclofenac (Cartrex or other) and diclofenac (Voltarene or other). Oral treatments for rheumatological conditions, but increase the risk of cardiovascular side effects including heart attack and heart failure.

Alzheimer’s disease treatments, including donepezil (Aricept), galantamine (Reminyl) and rivastigmine (Exelon). Most “have minimal and transient efficacy”, the review said, with disproportionate side effects. 

I absolutely applaud this criticism. Dementia sufferer’s are being sold worthless garbage, on the understanding it is the “official” treatment and has successful science behind it. It is neither; just another Big Pharma heist, through lies, false labelling and false science.

None of these dementia treatments have been shown to be effective in slowing the progression of the illness, the Prescrire review added, but they are “associated with serious, sometimes fatal, side effects”

This year’s list also warns against a new immunosuppressant product named ‘teriflunomide’ (sold under brands including Aubagio), which is widely used to treat multiple sclerosis. According to Wiki, Teriflunomide was investigated in the Phase III clinical trial TEMSO as a medication for multiple sclerosis. The study was completed in July 2010. 2-year results were positive.

What do they mean by positive? If you believe this assessment, then I have bought land on the dark side of the moon and am farming up there most weekends. For a start, to claim the outcomes were “positive”, you have to ignore all the deaths, crippling and downside, which Big Pharma is very skilled at hiding.

Also, they are happy to produce a 2% improvement in a condition, lasting only a week, to call it a positive outcomes.

Other medicines on the list include treatments for a runny nose, cough, and sore throat. For these relatively less-serious conditions, the risk of side effects is considered to be far too high to justify the use of the drug.

These include decongestants, including Actifed Rhume, Dolirhume, Humex Rhume, Nurofen Rhume, and Rhinadvil. These contain a vasoconstrictor that is intended to improve the sensation of a blocked nose, but they can also cause a small but significant risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction) or stroke. The risk increases with high doses and long-term treatment.

So when the Prescrire warns of the unwanted risk factors of anti-inflammatories like Ibuprofen, take a look at what they mean (this side-effects list is from the Mayo Clinic website (https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/ibuprofen-oral-route/side-effects/drg-20070602):

OK, just a boring list. But you get the point, I hope. A lot of OTC products are, frankly, DANGEROUS. Pill-poppers for example will go to town on Tylenol (paracetamol) believing it is quite safe, especially for children. It has emerged as one of the most disastrous pain killers available, short of opiates. It probably causes autism (routinely used for post-vaccination fevers); serious psychiatric side-effects, including dulled emotional responses to both positive and negative stimuli; it depletes glutathione; and it is very liver toxic. In the US alone, each year acetaminophen causes over 100,000 calls to poison control centers; 50,000 emergency room visits, 26,000 hospitalizations, and more than 450 deaths from liver failure. 

Worst of all, Tylenol is now associated with Stevens-Johnson syndrome, a rare but severe, and sometimes fatal skin reactions even at recommended dosages.

It’s time this drug was removed permanently. But of course the FDA won’t do that, because Big Pharma (who runs the FDA), won’t let them.

YouTube position would have meant no anesthetics, no antiseptic surgery, women dying like flies in childbirth, no antibiotics, no nutrition… because those is charge of “proper science” denied it was possible to do such things. Consensus refuses to believe in progress; it opposes progress; it attacks and destroys those who are bringing progress.

Those with power and prestige positions won’t give up their status, just for mere progress. Ha!

As medical information – and misinformation – continuously evolves, YouTube needs a policy framework that holds up in the long term, and preserves the important balance of removing egregiously harmful content while ensuring space for debate and discussion. While specific medical guidance can change over time as we learn more, our goal is to ensure that when it comes to areas of well-studied scientific consensus, YouTube is not a platform for distributing information that could harm people.

Moving forward, YouTube will streamline dozens of our existing medical misinformation guidelines to fall under three categories – Prevention, Treatment, and Denial. These policies will apply to specific health conditions, treatments, and substances where content contradicts local health authorities or the World Health Organization (WHO).

To determine if a condition, treatment or substance is in scope of our medical misinformation policies, we’ll evaluate whether it’s associated with a high public health risk, publicly available guidance from health authorities around the world, and whether it’s generally prone to misinformation.

Here’s what the framework will look like:

Prevention misinformation: We will remove content that contradicts health authority guidance on the prevention and transmission of specific health conditions, and on the safety and efficacy of approved vaccines. For example, this encompasses content that promotes a harmful substance for disease prevention (unless it is patented and being sold by Big Pharma… KS-M)

Treatment misinformation: We will remove content that contradicts health authority guidance on treatments for specific health conditions, including promoting specific harmful substances or practices. Examples include content that encourages unproven remedies in place of seeking medical attention for specific conditions, like promoting caesium chloride as a treatment for cancer.

Denial misinformation: We will remove content that disputes the existence of specific health conditions. This covers content that denies people have died from COVID-19.

Our goal is to make the rules of the road clearer and have a more transparent framework in place for evaluating whether certain diseases or conditions would be included in the future… 

(meaning you can’t point out the number of cases who were killed by medical incompetence). So that just about gets all the evil under wraps and out of sight…

In other words, it’s all going to be subsumed to the American model, WHICH IS ONE OF THE WORST MEDICAL MODELS IN THE WORLD. The USA is 47th on the list of healthy nations, behind countries such Slovenia, Lithuania, Greece, Colombia, Costa Rica and, Chile. Yet you are going to be forced into medical care that is WORSE than theirs!

Removing Cancer Treatment Misinformation

When cancer patients and their loved ones are faced with a diagnosis, they often turn to online spaces to research symptoms, learn about treatment journeys, and find community. The bastards won’t let up. Endless trumped up charges which they cannot make stick. They even arraigned her for non compliance—she wouldn’t turn over patient records for them to peruse. BUT THE GMC’s OWN RULES FORBID DISCLOSING A PATIENT’S RECORDS, IF THE PATIENT DOES NOT CONSENT TO IT. Ha!

She was following THEIR rules and yet they tried to get her for not complying with their (illegal) order to disclose confidential notes. Sarah won. But it’s still SICK that a professional regulatory body could do that.

The GMC in fact is capable of putting up false stooges to make absurd claims, that some of her recommendations were “potentially lethal” and fell “seriously below standard” of patient care. Vitamin C and vitamin D; sniffing Lugol’s iodine from a salt pipe? Lethal? Are you KIDDING! Paracetamol (Tylenol) is way more deadly.

We are looking at the face of pure evil. But Sarah still comes up smiling and laughing even. It’s got to be some kind of stupid joke, she thinks.

Great discoveries will be a thing of the past. Natural healing, magic and trusted recovery will be squeezed out by an insistence on a medical paradigm which—face it—doesn’t work! It’s busted. People die in droves, during treatment, and very often BECAUSE if it. But we are stuck with the system.

We have entered an era in which healing, as such, is forbidden. We are to be allowed only “treatment”, officially approved, meaning a lifetime of medicines to suppress symptoms.

If a discovery comes along which is major and significant, there is now an army of fakers and shills, who will step up to the plate and brazenly, without conscience, tear down the value findings. Cheap, effective cures will become a thing of the past.

Take this example, which sends shivers of horror down my spine,

“Infamous Vitamin C Study May Rely on Fraudulent Data” screamed the headline.¹ Note the word “may” have been. The author of this scurrilous attack produces no actual evidence. Just a “claim” that there must be false data.

The vitamin C study was in no way “infamous”, it was well presented, with startling results that vitamin C was capable of saving millions of lives in cases of sepsis, which of course most doctors would find silly beyond belief. But that doesn’t make it infamous. Once upon a time, virtually all doctors would have found the idea of anesthesia silly beyond belief. But it came, it stayed, and is now a fact of civilized medicine.

But anesthesia was fought (tooth and nail), antiseptic technique in operations (Joseph Lister, who gave his name to Listerine) and even just washing of hands (Ignaz Semmelweis). Every step forward was fought tooth and nail. Nothing much changes, does it?

Now a creepy idiot from Australia “alleges” that data in study led by Dr. Paul E. Marik, MD, were fabricated. Again, that word alleges; no proof of any wrong doing; just propaganda and lies and allegations.

The truth is, sadly, there is no depths to which the scumbags who back up Big Pharma will not sink; there is no criminality or depravity to which those who suck up to money and repute will not stoop.

This anti-humanist liar claims the data showing vitamin C to be a life saver “must have been fabricated” because the result of using vitamin C were too good to be believable. That’s just opinion. Spiteful opinion.

He produces NO EVIDENCE WHATEVER of fraud in the original study (how could he, there was no fraud?) Yet yaps his crooked mouth off saying the clear PROOF that the data was faked is that vitamin C could not have been so effective.

Well, guess which position is now being quoted ALL OVER THE WORLD while the original, life-saving magic is being buried in a web of evil and lies?

OK, I’m raging. What’s all this about?

The story goes back a way: in the 1940s Dr Frederick Klenner started producing some remarkable papers, to the fact that large doses of vitamin C could save patients with septicemia (US: sepsis) from certain death. Orthodox doctors have never accepted this, because they “know” vitamin C cannot do such a thing.

So much so that in 2009 doctors in New Zealand refused to give a patient with white-out pneumonia (virtually no lung function) vitamin C and INSISTED they were going to turn off the life-support, knowing he would die. This was despite the fact that they had already administered IV vitamin C and the patient had recovered considerably.²

Their excuse was that it could not possibly have been the vitamin C; it must have been turning or moving the patient that produced the recovery (but they failed to issue instructions to the nurses, to keep moving him!)

Paul E. Marik MD

More recently, Dr. Paul Marik was successfully treating septicemic patients in his intensive care unit with high-dose IV vitamin C (along with steroids and thiamine – vitamin B1). 47 consecutive sepsis patients who were treated during a 7 month period to 47 consecutive control patients during the preceding 7 month period. The study reported 19 deaths in the control group and 4 deaths in the treatment group.

It was a celebrated paper, which was changing the way intensive care medicine was being done.³

Obviously, Big Pharma was not going to stand for this and would get their well-oiled attack, discrediting, propaganda machine going against him.

My alarm bells went off a few weeks ago when I learned Marik had resigned his post at the Eastern Virginia Medical School (read: squeezed out by colleagues who wanted money, not results).

Apparently this was just a preparation for the onslaught that Big Pharma was preparing for him.

Along comes Kyle Sheldrick, MBBS, Australian statistician and master con-man, who is completing his PhD at the University of New South Wales. According to Sheldrick, the data underpinning Marik’s study may be fraudulent because, as this shill alleges, the pre- and post- comparison groups involved in the 94-patient study were too similar to be realistic (notice again, that word “may”). That’s what you say when you’ve NO PROOF but want to bring somebody down.

Worse than that: there is not even a scientific paper to back up his accusations: Sheldrick chose to just go to the press and social media to attack and slander a very good doctor.

“This is extreme,” Sheldrick told MedPage Today in an interview. “This is probably the most obviously fake data I have seen. These groups are more similar than would be probable.”

More similar than would be probable? Probable: that’s “extreme fraud”? I don’t think so.

I note today (30^th March, 5 days after Sheldrick’s attack), somebody has rushed to get it into the Wikipedia entry, discrediting Marik.⁴

This smacks of the deliberate onslaught on Profesor John Yudkin, who dared to attack the sugar industry, saying their product was deadly, in his book Pure, White and Deadly. The industry moblized an army of ready bought-and-paid-for shills, like Sheldrick, to mount a concerted onslaught, attacking Yudkin with fake data and innuendo, until the poor man was utterly discredited and lost his job and livelihood.

Science? Don’t make me puke.

Yudkin was 100% right of course. Sugar is the single most deadly foodstuff in our ecosystem. But STILL, even today, the industry produces doctor shills as “experts”, saying sugar does no harm and can be part of a healthy, balanced diet.

And you know the worst of this? What REALLY angers me? It’s the hypocrisy that Big Pharma carries out scientific fraud ALL THE TIME, right under our noses. Consider the writings of Dr. Marcia Angell, former editor of The New England Journal of Medicine, in the NY Review of Books, January 15, 2009, “Drug Companies & Doctors: A Story of Corruption”:

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.”⁵

Pharma is an industry, that stoops to buying (bribing), intimidating, or even inventing, contributors for their “studies”. Data is manipulated. Failures or damage—even deaths—are ignored or deliberately hidden. Journals are threatened with financial injury of they don’t conform to industry demands…

What a sad end to science. It’s fallen into the hands of evil, unscrupulous business cartels and is now controlled for their benefit, not ours. Anesthetics would never happen now; antibiotics; sanitation; recognition of the effects of viruses and bacteria; improved childhood mortality; the discovery that malaria was transmitted by mosquitos, not “bad air” (hence mal-aria)… Facebook and the tech giants would censor it all and the new discoveries would be suppressed in favor of the mainstream.

The ignorant, stupid, EVIL mainstream.

OH NO THEY DON’T!

One of the reasons I am where I am is that, even as a card-carrying fully-qualified MD (with a bachelors in medicine and a bachelors in surgery in the UK), I will NOT be bullied by orthodox science (so-called science) into taking the party line. For 40 years I’ve been a dissenting voice. I relentlessly criticize what is bad and publish what is good and what I know works, from personal first-hand clinical experience.

I’ve watched in horror as Big Pharma’s lying and pushy promotions have enabled statins to gain ascendency as the number one drug revenue of all time; a market worth $19 billion in 2017 and is projected to $25 billion by 2022.¹ That’s worth telling a LOT of lies for, some would think.

Now statins or promoted on the basis they are “proven” to lower blood cholesterol.

Two more problems with that:

1. It is not a proven, as I’ll share in a moment
2. Lower cholesterol has been shown time and time again to have no health benefits. In fact in populations over 60 (Baby Boomers) you’ll live longer if you have a much higher cholesterol than is being touted as ideal (it will emerge for lower age groups soon, trust me!)

There is some very shaky science to suggest (after extensive massaging of figures by shills like Sir Rory Collins, the Goebbels of Big Pharma) there may be some benefits for males who have had one heart attack. But no-one else. That means:

• Healthy males: NO BENEFIT
• All women, currently healthy or not: NO BENEFIT

Yet Collins is insisting we put children on this junk! He won’t publish any science or data sets to back up this absurd claim. He just publishes pro-statin papers, with secretive data he won’t make public, which get pushed into print by his bosses. It’s called marketing, not science.

Safety? Collins hasn’t done adequate safety tests, it has emerged. He talking through his north end lookin’ south!

Furthermore, Big Pharma has brainwashed ignorant doctors, with endless hours of propaganda, that there is meaningful science behind statins. The average doctor hasn’t the time or skill to question the truth. So he or she believes they are doing the right thing, scientifically. It would be negligence or even malpraxis, not to prescribe statins to those who need them, wouldn’t it?

Well, I’m here to share the very latest science (April 15th, 2019. Today is 19th April!)

Half of patients on statins won’t have ‘healthy’ cholesterol levels after two years of taking the pills, reveals a study describes as ‘clearly alarming’. It comes from Nottingham University, UK, in which researchers used data from 165,400 British people.

They found that statins had no significant impact for 49% of the patients, meaning patients given the drugs did not see their cholesterol fall to healthy levels, even after two years.²

The joke is you can lower your cholesterol to normal in less than a month, just by improving your diet!

These findings add further fuel to the row about the effectiveness of statins. And let me point out, it still leaves unaddressed the question of whether there are desirable health benefits, less chance of dying or dangerous side-effects.

Heck, you can get a 40% reduction in the risk of heart attack and stroke, just by brushing your teeth regularly!³

Dr. Ann Bolger, a cardiologist and professor of medicine emeritus at the University of California, San Francisco, said the science supports a potential connection between dental health and heart health. Gum disease is one of the diseases “where the body may be in a sort of continual state of inflammation, and this seems to be a very powerful predictor of cardiovascular disease,” she said.

Of course the apologists for this class of drug has to come up with a story. So they claim that probably many people in the study may have simply stopped taking their statins, which is why they did not see an effect. THERE IS NO DATA TO UPHOLD SUCH A SPECULATION. The question wasn’t even asked!

The researchers admitted the data only showed whether each participant was prescribed statins – not whether they actually took it – so they urged patients not to stop taking their medication until there are more definitive findings.

Dr Márcio Bittencourt of University Hospital Sao Paolo in Brazil agreed that the outcome was ‘clearly alarming’ and went on to suggest that doctors may be to blame for not giving strong enough doses of the drugs.

Usual nonsense: if it doesn’t work, give more. Where’s the logic in that? Is none. Just follow the money.

What Is High Cholesterol?

Here’s where the fairy stories get turned on. Cholesterol is a fatty substance that is vital for the normal functioning of the body. We can all agree that.

But too much can cause it to build up in the arteries, restricting blood flow to the heart, brain and rest of the body. Not true. Unoxidized cholesterol does nothing harmful to arteries.

This raises the risk of angina, heart attacks, stroke and blood clots. No it does NOT. It’s just propaganda. It is inflammation that puts us at risk of heart attacks and other cardiovascular problems. Mots fatal heart clots take place on patches of inflammation, NOT where the artery is at its narrowest.

High cholesterol can be genetic but it is also linked to a diet rich in saturated fat, as well as smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure and a family history of stroke or heart disease. NOT TRUE again. There are countless studies showing that saturated fat intake doesn’t cause higher cholesterol.

Cholesterol can be lowered by eating a healthy, low-fat diet; not smoking; and exercising regularly. There is no such thing as a healthy low-fat diet. It’s been discredited. Everyone knows the falsified doctrine of Ancel Keys, in which he faked the evidence to implicate fat in obesity and heart disease. He DELIBERATELY distorted the science (therefore may he rot in Hell for the billions of people he killed or damaged over the decades), to support his masters, who were, of course, Big Ag, wanting to sell cheap carbs and toxic vegetable oils.

The pharmaceutical industry only somewhat latterly got to make obscene profits from the low-fat story. It was the food industry, first and foremost, that profited.

So What To Do?

Writing in the Heart medical journal, the research team said: ‘Currently, there is no management strategy in clinical practice which takes into account patient variations… That’s correct.

So what can you do?

I’m giving a talk next week to the European Parliament MPs (like Congressmen and Women). I’ve been invited to lay into the Big Pharma society model and explain how it is enslaving whole countries economically—like in the USA, the healthcare bill is 14% of the gross national product (GNP); in Britain it’s 7% and so on.

Pharmaceutical companies have a clear agenda (I almost wrote “hidden” agenda, but it’s so blatantly obvious!) for trapping and controlling governments into having to allocate huge sums for the medical care of its citizens which goes into their coffers.

It is based on two very vicious traps:

• No-one shall get well, if we can stop it. We want them to remain UN-cured and permanently in medical care.
• As many citizens as possible will be made ill, by preventing access to natural and effective health products.

Governments fall for it, so consistently, it’s OBVIOUS that politicians are getting payoffs and back-handers.

In the meantime, I thought I would use some of the shocking data I found that’s readily available to any honest journalist (sounds like an oxymoron!). Trouble is, the media are very heavily censored in the USA. People are not allowed the truth.

Let me share a few incriminating facts with you about the myth of what is (laughably) called “evidence-based medicine” or EBM. It’s a new tool, a silly boast, whatever you want to call it, that orthodox doctors use to attack and berate holistically inclined practitioners.

According to this myth, mainstream doctors are guided by pure scientific wisdom; their story is a proven case; science backs up everything they say and do; they work from real evidence. Whereas holistic practitioners, so the myth goes, have no science behind their crackpot theories; or they use “junk science” at best.

So what’s the truth?

They are condemned from their own published journals!

According to the journal BMJ Clinical Evidence,* which describes itself as “the international source of the best available evidence for effective health care,” the myth is very sorry indeed.

The journal’s distinguished team of advisors set out in 2007 to answer a simple question: “What proportion of commonly used treatments are supported by good evidence…?”

Around 2500 treatments were reviewed. The results are either hilarious or sickening, depending on your view!

Results:

• Only 13 percent of current treatments have been found definitely beneficial (less than one seventh of medicine is what it’s cracked up to be!)
• 23 percent are rated as likely to be beneficial
• 8 percent can be classified as a trade off between benefits and harms
• 6 percent as clearly unlikely to be beneficial; 4 percent are likely to be ineffective or harmful
• A whopping 46 percent of all current medical treatments are honestly rated as being of unknown effectiveness

So 62% of medicine, as practiced today, you wouldn’t even want!

What you get from your doctor is really like the outcome of a lottery: it could be worthless, kill you, or do the job. Nobody knows… spin the dice. Hey! That’s my a** on the line. That’s not what you want if you seek medical assistance, is it?

Hypocrisy and Double-Standards

Given that very few of conventional medicine’s standard treatments have been demonstrated to have any clear benefit and conversely, that a substantial proportion have been shown to be potentially harmful, it is somewhat ironic to see the term ‘evidence-based medicine’ used as a war cry by those who are virulently opposed to complementary and alternative medicines.

But not all orthodox medical doctors are fascist fools (I keep making this point).

Erich Loewy, MD, a bioethicist and professor of medicine at the University of California, Davis (I wish I’d met with him when I lived in Davis) writes:

“To me, as a bioethicist and…a physician who has observed the evolution of EBM, I am impressed with the danger to physicians, patients, the educative process, and, ultimately, to the behavior it encourages. Mindless reliance on EBM does exactly what we do not want our students to do: convert what is a suffering human being, with a unique personal life-history, into a specimen of pathophysiology or a heart murmur”. (Loewy, 2007)

Dr. Loewy points out that ‘evidence-based medicine’, as practiced in large institutions, can have the highly undesirable effect of stifling thought and constraining good diagnostic and clinical judgment.

Doctors who ‘think outside the box’ and who feel that a particular patient is uniquely suited for a treatment option that is currently not listed as standard ‘evidence-based medicine’, risk being disciplined by their institution. “EBM is basically anti-intellectual,”1 Loewy writes.

Furthermore, says Loewy, ‘evidence-based medicine’ protocols must, like drugs or food, have an expiration date after which they have to be reexamined in far more than a perfunctory way to make sure they are still legitimate.¹

Evidence-based medicine, for all its advantages in caring for the “usual case of “X,” tends to suppress our curiosity and imagination or at least tends to channel our curiosity and shape our imagination within narrow limits and, therefore, gets in the way of the sort of speculation necessary for scientific progress.²

Refusing to publish a paper, by the way, may be a highly effective form of censorship. We badly need a “Journal of Negative Results” devoted to experiments that proved a reasonable hypothesis to be untrue, he says.

I think that’s a great idea.

“A herniorrhaphy patient can go home in 1 or 2 days” — is that really true? It is probably true if the patient lives in a middle-class suburb with a spouse and adequate sanitation. But is it true for a 55-year-old man who lives in a rat-infested “project” building on the fifth floor and without a functioning elevator?”

We are a strange society, says Loewy: On the one hand we have made autonomy into the supreme virtue; on the other we have created instruments which force others (physicians) to act in ways they find suboptimal.

One writer, compared the dilemma of doctors who don’t want to knuckle under the EBM hyposcrisy to the moral dilemma of Germans under the Nazis, who may not have wanted to harm the Jews. But they were forced to conform.

A “system”—a political, economic, or cultural system—insinuates itself between myself and the other. If the other is excluded, it is the system that is doing the excluding, a system in which I participate because I must survive and against which I do not rebel because it cannot be changed…I start to view horror and my implication in it as normalcy.⁴

Let Me Finish With A Telling Joke

The British Medical Journal has run a few scientific jokes over the years. This one is a beauty. They published a tongue-in-cheek article looking into what scientific papers, if any, had been published to provide evidence that parachutes were effective for those who were “gravitationally challenged”!

The findings were: “The authors were unable to identify any randomized controlled trials of parachute intervention for gravitational challenge. They concluded that the effectiveness of parachutes has not been subjected to rigorous evaluation by randomized controlled trials.”

The authors of this report suggest that everyone might benefit if the most radical proponents of evidence-based medicine organized and participated in a double blind randomized, placebo-controlled crossover trial of the parachute.”⁵

I’d like to support such a trial!

I have been a patient at a small cancer hospital in Germany for four of the last seven months. In Germany they have checked my BP practically every day and it is nearly always normal, with the diastolic pressure between 80-90 mmHg.

However, during this same seven month period, at times when I was not in Germany, and have had my BP checked by an American physician or dentist office they have nearly always found the diastolic pressure between 90-100, or some ten points higher than the Germans.

I have come to suspect that the US sphygmomanometers are intentionally mis-calibrated in order to sell blood pressure drugs. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Well, hardly ever. When they do, the drug manufacturers just suppress it. Yet again Merck is in the frame for lying and covering up the fact that Vioxx (rofecoxib) kills. Why are the directors of this organization still walking the streets instead of being in jail for manslaughter, at least?

It has emerged through independent investigation that the fact that Vioxx increased risk for heart attack, stroke and death, were known for years before the drug’s voluntary withdrawal from the market in 2004.

The researchers found 30 trials with a total of 20,152 patients, comparing the anti-inflammatory medication with placebo.

Twenty-one of those trials had been completed by the end of December 2000, and a risk of heart attack, stroke and death among patients taking Vioxx was clear and should have led to a safety warning, Ross said.

The risk for those cardiovascular events was 35% higher among patients taking Vioxx compared with those taking placebo. The association grew as more trials were completed, increasing to 39% in April 2002, when newer data was analyzed, and to 43% in September 2004, according to the study.

Merck’s excuse? (you won’t believe this one!) “Merck believes the article published in The Archives of Internal Medicine in today’s issue related to Vioxx used unreliable methods and reached incorrect conclusions.”

What a cheek! They can use unreliable and incorrect conclusions to push their stuff. But if somebody criticizes them, it’s bad…

“Merck acted responsibly — from researching Vioxx prior to approval in studies with approximately 10,000 patients to monitoring the medicine while it was on the market — to voluntarily withdrawing the medicine when it did,” their statement said. “Our decisions were based on the data from well-controlled clinical trials.”

Usual doublespeak: they relied on well-controlled clinical trials (maybe), BUT THEY IGNORED LOTS OF OTHER TRIALS THAT THEY DIDN’T LIKE, WHICH SAID THEIR DRUG WAS DANGEROUS.

This new finding showed that Merck’s chief executive officer lied before a U.S. Senate committee in November 2004, by stating that earlier clinical trials showed no difference in the risk of heart events between patients taking Vioxx and those taking a placebo.

So much for the US Constitution, never mind medical science and the public good. Big Pharma is contemptible.
