Listen, who cares about brain tumors. I mean, I’m talking about roasted nuts: fried sperm, guys! Ugh!

Forget the thermal effect of cell phones on the brain. This is serious! Sperm samples exposed to just the ordinary laptop (you know, the kind you put on your lap, right next to your sensitive biological equipment), went dead. They downloaded the EMF stuff and just, well, just quit moving.

In a paper November 23rd in Fertility and Sterility, Argentinian scientists report that they obtained semen samples from 29 healthy men, placed a few drops under a laptop connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi and then hit download.

After just 4 hours, 25% of the sperm were deceased (ex-sperm, to continue the Monty Python line of talk).

Actually, I should stop joking because, in fact, 14% of the normals (no laptop field) were dead too. That’s the power of controlled studies. But the laptop still DOUBLED the kill rate.

Moreover, and this is more serious, 9% percent of the Wi-Fi exposed sperm showed DNA fragmentation, three-fold more than the comparison samples. Dead sperm tell no tales. But live sperm with damaged DNA can produce deformed children, never mind cancer.

I suggest laptop computers be re-named “as-far-away-from-lap-as-is-humanly-possible” portable computers.

Mind you, you can ignore the facts if you want and be comforted by silly medical indifference. Like the dismissive tone of Dr. Robert Oates, president of the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology, Dr. Oates told Reuters Health. He thinks it’s all nonsense. Dead and damaged sperm are not important.

He’s had his kids, so presumably he doesn’t care anyway.

“This is not real-life biology, this is a completely artificial setting,” he said about the new study. “It is scientifically interesting, but to me it doesn’t have any human biological relevance.”

That’s what they once said about smoking!

A few days ago I went to San Francisco to attend an important symposium on the health effects of EMF fields. It was organized by my friend Camilla Rees. She’s one of the key US activists in this area and a very nice lady too.

We attended at the Commonwealth Club, a name that intrigued me, as a Brit; we started the Commonwealth – two of them in fact: the original one under Oliver Cromwell (it ran from 1649- 1660) and the present affiliation of former UK colonies round the world, presides over (not ruled over) by HRH Queen Elizabeth.

It’s just a name that means the common good, or common weal… (Old English wele, related to the word well, and well-being)

Camilla assembled some really interesting experts. Each spoke in bites of only 15 minutes, which was very novel and satisfying. Scheduling was very tight and we got through a deal of valuable material, without the usual interminable waffle that drives ADDs like me crazy.

It was a delight to meet Olle Johanson from the famous Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Long-time readers will know I accept this Institute as the virtual benchmark of credible science and integrity. Olle speaks with a powerful and moving voice, something I like in public orators. Come to think of it Lloyd Morgan, author of “Cellphones and Brain Tumors: 15 Reasons For Concern” was pretty entertaining too.

Olle introduced me to the term “seriously dependent scientists” (blackmailed or bribed crooks) and also the real definition of “radiation protection”, which he cynically pointed out means protection of radiation (the industry), not protection of humans!

But all speakers were first class and there was not a boring moment.

Possibly the most worrying contribution was from Martin Blank PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics at Colombia University. Dr Blank discussed heat shock proteins. Simply speaking these are markers of biological stress.

They show up at all levels of EMF exposure. The can be NO argument that EMFs are biological stressors.

Especially for me there was another great “I Told ‘Em!”* In my book Virtual Medicine I had pointed out the transmitter antenna properties of our DNA. The coiled helical strands are perfect for broadcasting and receiving. I learned at this symposium about “fractal antennas”. These are a new concept, following the discovery of fractal math and chaos science.

Basically a fractal antenna is a multi-repeated pattern that effectively increases the length or surface area of a transmitter, greatly enhancing its collecting or broadcasting power. Well, DNA fits this model perfectly, with a double-helix of endlessly repeating patterns.

What this means is that DNA is exceptionally susceptible to being hit by the power of microwaves such as the phone companies use. Broken DNA (hence aging and cancer) are the almost INEVITABLE consequence of EMF fields around our DNA. And the evidence is all in: broken DNA abounds when cells are exposed to microwave fields and other EMFs.

But the dismal picture that emerged for the day was one of lying and deception by the phone industry, aided and abetted by corrupt and bribed politicians. The 2000 study by the German company T-Mobile is a case in point: they knew, without a shadow of doubt about the health dangers: it’s all in their own report. But they suppressed it deliberately.

And still there industry officials go on mouthing the lie that they know of no evidence to show microwaves are harmful. Or the other great dodge: the evidence is “unclear”.

Trust me, it’s very clear. Brain tumors UP, parotid tumors (salivary glands in the cheek) are UP, acoustic neuroma (nerves in the ear) are UP. And this is just the start of the curve. It will take 30 years to see the true scale of this appalling human tragedy.

You know what maddens me the MOST? I’ll tell you: it’s that we are all exposed to this electro-pollution ALL THE TIME, yet 98% of all cell phone conversations are stupid, mindless prattle between dimwits, who seem to think they have no life, other than their empty talk (usually while driving and putting lives at risk).

Meanwhile, Camilla’s website is: http://www.ElectromagneticHealth.org She will be sharing the videos of the whole proceedings. As soon as they are up, I will notify you and ask you to get this data out to your community.

For the sake of the common weal…

* For new subscribers, an “I Told ‘Em” is an example where I put this idea to the world (published in writing, not just claiming I did, like Bruce Lipton) 10, 30, even 30 or more years before the rest of the scientific world caught on. Let me boast and say there have been dozens of these. I have them all documented and share them with readers from time to time, as the oldsters well know!

If you’ve read my book “Virtual Medicine” (you should have!), you’ll know that I gave some space to the dangers of periodontal disease. Today it’s probably the #1 marker for heart disease.

But do you remember, I also talked on pages 62- 63 about dental dangers, with particular reference to the work of Dr. Patrick Stortebecker, of the Karolinska Institute, in Stockholm, Sweden. Stortebecker, a brilliant researcher, was convinced that gum and dental disease can also form the focus for a cancer of the jaw or mouth. I accept this.

In the 80s- and 90s I saw dental foci over and over again as the deadly energetic signal on a body with cancer of the mouth region.

Always happy to be 20 years ahead of the curve—Hey, it’s where I live!

Now a new study backs up everything I wrote over those years. Chronic periodontitis may significantly raise the risk of head and neck cancer. Periodontitis is advanced gum disease that leads to progressive loss of bone and soft tissue that surround the teeth.

In fact, each millimeter of bone loss due to chronic periodontitis was associated with a more than four times higher risk of head and neck cancer, after taking into account other known risk factors such as smoking, which is remarkable.

This may help explain why head and neck cancer rates continue to climb although smoking rates have been declining for the last 40 years.

The study also adds to a growing body of research that shows chronic inflammation can affect the risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes and other health problems.

The study, published in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention, compared rates of periodontitis in 226 people with head and neck cancer and a comparison group of 207 people without cancer.

Use your toothbrush often, get dental check ups and teeth cleaning, take CoenzymeQ10, a powerful cure for periodontal disease and follow everything I said in my book “Diet Wise”, to keep your inflammation levels very low

If you haven’t heard already, you will soon come across a new anti-cancer therapy called Kanglaite. It’s manufactured in China and is pushed by incredible hype and fanfares as a “proven” and “miracle” cure. But we’ve been there before, haven’t we? When commercial interests get on the bandwagon, the inconvenient matter of truth and integrity suddenly gets lost in all the brouhaha.

So what are the facts?

Kanglaite was developed by a pharmacist, Li Dapeng. It is made from a plant called Job’s tears, a relative of maize. We might think of it as “Chinese pearl barley”. The botanical name, for those interested, is Coix lachryma-jobi. Its Chinese name, yi-yi-jen, or yi-mi (in southeast China) is the same as that used for barley, or yang-yi-mi, ‘yang’ meaning ‘foreign’, or ‘across the ocean’.

Yi-mi is used in soups and gruel and is a common ingredient in many Chinese traditional herbal medicines for treating a variety of ailments including cancer. It has also been widely used as a diuretic, analgesic and antispasmodic agent.

No one knows exactly how Kanglaite works, but the drug has been taken by more than 270,000 patients in some 2,000 hospitals in China, and has proven effective against malignant tumors such as carcinomas in the lung, liver, stomach and breast.

So far so good.

But from here on, things are not quite as simple as the protagonists claim. In the usual way, it is assumed that there are certain “active” components of the plant seeds and that these individual compounds can be extracted and sold as the “real” reason why the herb works.

It’s true that there are many excellent compounds in the plant and these have been shown to have specific anti-inflammatory, anti-tumour, anti-microbial, hypoglycaemic, and ovulatory effects.

Researchers at the National Taiwan University have identified 6 phenolic compounds in the hull (shell) of Job’s tears that have strong but varying anti-oxidant activities. Antioxidants neutralise reactive oxygen species (ROS) and protect cell membranes. Excess ROS is implicated in diseases such as inflammation, aging, atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and liver toxicity.

This is good. Remember my saying used throughout “Cancer Confidential”, that all good health measures are anti-cancer measures.

But I have a problem with the over-reaching assumption that the health benefits of plants can be reduced to just a few known compounds. This faulty reasoning ignores the probability (almost certainty) that there are also unknown compounds that may be contributing to the picture.

Big Pharma constantly perpetuates this myth of course and is it easy to see why. They need something to patent for dollars and some reason to steer people away from the herb. Otherwise, why not just feed the cheap plant substance to the patients and get all the benefits?

All this pseudo-scientific rhetoric about “active compounds” is really just a blind for greed and trying to lock up profits. In other words keeping the benefits from the people who need it, unless they pay through the nose.

So, if you like the story so far, I recommend you just get hold of Job’s tears seeds, plant some at home and eat it! I’m all for nutritional sources that fight cancer. But if it’s that good, why not just incorporate it in everyone’s diet. It’s cheap and readily available almost everywhere. It ranks—along with wheat and barley in Europe; beans, corn, squash and pepper in the Americas; and rice in Asia—as one of the earliest domesticated plants.

Scientific trials of Kanglaite

So what is Kanglaite, exactly? It is a "neutral lipid" of the endosperm of Job’s tears, extracted with an organic solvent, such as acetone, and then combined with glycerol and lecithin from soy or egg to make an emulsion in water that can be injected intravenously into patients.

Kanglaite Injection (KLT) has been listed by the Chinese government as a "State Basic Drug", a "State Basic Medical Insurance Drug" and a "State Key New Drug". KLT has been on top of the best selling anticancer drugs in China for recent 5 years.

I am always wary of Chinese medicine studies, especially on substances they sell for foreign exchange. Most of it is awful science and a lot of it bordering on ham.

But I can report on pre-clinical studies at John Hopkins University, USA, which showed tumor-inhibitive rate of KLT on transplanted breast carcinoma induced by cell strain MDA-MB-231 was over 50%.

In 2003, FDA approved a US phase II trial on non small-cell lung cancer, a hitherto untreatable cancer once it has gone past the very early stages when surgical intervention is feasible.

Now a new 4-month clinical trial of Kanglaite has been carried out on 15 to 18 volunteers in a hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, making it the first drug derived from a traditional Chinese herbal remedy to go into clinical trials in the United States. The drug is patented in China, United States, Canada, Japan and the European Union.
That means if it is shown to work it will be expensive and the herbal substitute will be attacked and outlawed as “dangerous” by the FDA.

Other features of Kanglaite

As well as killing cancer cells directly and effectively, Kanglaite also has a number of other significant benefits that would be desired by a cancer patient

Improves patient immune function

Increases sensitivity to radiotherapy (makes it more effective)

Reduces the toxicity of chemo and radiation, when taken concomitantly

Provides high energy nutrition to treat cachexia (the body wasting of cancer)

Relieves cancerous pain markedly

Finally, it improves patient quality of life and notably prolongs survival

All this with minimum side effects.

Standard treatment course for KLT is 200 ml (2 bottles) per day via intravenous drip x 42 days (84 bottles). There is a break for 4-5 days after 21 days. And clinical experiences in China and Russia suggest 2 treatment courses for those with late stage advanced and metastatic tumors for better therapeutic effect and evident prolongation of life.

Both Chinese and overseas clinical experiences have shown that KLT has proven effect in the treatment of cancers mainly at sites of lung, breast, liver, nasopharynx, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, kidney, colon-rectum, ovary and prostate. This agent is also applied in the treatment of malignant lymphoma and acute leukemia. KLT has brought great benefits to over 500,000 cancer patients in more than 2,000 big or medium hospitals in China since 1997.

In my book “Virtual Medicine” I wrote about the power of solar “weather” and how it affects our biology here on Earth (https://alternative-doctor.com/alternat/virtualmedicine). Solar “wind” carries particles out past us with such force that it drags our atmosphere out like a streamer of hair blowing in the wind. Solar “storms” or electromagnetic flare ups caused by sun spot activity can crash sensitive electronic equipment here on Earth.

They also give rise to intense aurora displays near the poles, where the whole night sky lights up with a colored, hissing glow, caused by the bombarding of Earth with charged particles. Nearby observers can often detect the characteristic smell of electrical crackling (ozone).

That same solar weather can affect us biologically. In fact carefully monitored statistics show that whenever there are active solar flares, motor accidents, hospital admissions for psychiatric disturbance and heart disease rise dramatically. This is hardly surprising, since we are delicately balanced electronic tuners. We are, in effect, a collagen body acting like a liquid crystal system (just like the LCD display in your wristwatch).

Coherence is one of the most important of all biological characteristics, that separates us from the background “noise” of this extremely active EMF environment of Earth. It is easily disturbed and we will inevitably malfunction with the effects of a violent electromagnetic storm. Normally we are protected by the Van-Allen belts in the upper layers of the atmosphere, and by an effect called the Lorentz force, which deflect electrically charged particles. But even these protective barriers can be overcome, if the extra-terrestrial disturbance is big enough.

Now a recent NASA study has shown just how violent so-called “solar weather” can be. Past storms, like the one in March 1989 when six million people in Quebec lost power for 9 hours. Ground currents induced during the geomagnetic storm actually melted the copper windings of transformers in the power distribution system. If it can do that to giant equipment, what can it do to us?

The trouble is that the wide network of sprawling power lines act like antennas, picking up the currents and spreading the problem over a wide area.

According to the NASA report, power grids may be more vulnerable than ever. The problem is interconnectedness. In recent years, utilities have joined grids together to allow long-distance transmission of low-cost power to areas of sudden demand. On a hot summer day in California, for instance, people in Los Angeles might be running their air conditioners on power routed from Oregon. It makes economic sense—but not necessarily geomagnetic sense. Interconnectedness makes the system susceptible to wide-ranging "cascade failures."

The biggest solar storm so far recognized took place in August-September 1859, and was named the Carrington Event, after British astronomer Richard Carrington who witnessed the instigating solar flare with his unaided eye while he was projecting an image of the sun on a white screen. Next day, geomagnetic activity triggered by the solar explosion electrified telegraph lines, shocking technicians and setting their telegraph papers on fire! Northern Lights spread as far south as Cuba and Hawaii; auroras over the Rocky Mountains were so bright, the glow woke campers who began preparing breakfast because they thought it was morning.

Not all events are equal, meaning the type of radiation received is critical. In 1972 a huge solar outburst took place, which caused concern because it happened during the Apollo program when astronauts were going back and forth to the Moon regularly. At the time, the crew of Apollo 16 had just returned to Earth in April while the crew of Apollo 17 was preparing to depart. Luckily, everyone was safely on Earth when the sun went haywire.

They keep saying we are “safe” down here. But how safe it that?

I located a study which compared the biology of the Carrington event and the 1972 flare and tried to assess the danger to life. In fact more protons (alpha waves) per sq. cm. of body surface were received in the later event but the Carrington event shed more “hard” radiation, meaning penetrating gamma rays (equivalent).

In terms of effects, I found the following factors definitely influenced by Earth’s geomagnetic activity (GMA). There are probably many more effects yet to be documented):

Higher hospital cardiovascular and cerebro-vascular accident mortality
Higher number of deaths of outpatients from acute myocardial infarction (heart attack)
Higher diastolic blood pressure in healthy blood donors and hypertensive patients
Higher number of blood platelets, prothrombin index, and platelet aggregation (risk of coronary thrombosis)
Greater human blood plasma viscosity (also risk of clotting)
on unsettled (II) and
Higher levels on human prolactin and 17-ketosteroid levels
Higher levels of human growth
More severe migraine headaches
Significantly more frequent heart rhythm disturbances – surpraventricular and ventricular extrasystoles as detected with the electrocardiogram (ECG)
A higher number of sudden cardiovascular deaths (follows from previous factors)
A greater involvement of the inferior wall of the heart than the anterior wall in acute myocardial infarction
The anterior/inferior wall ratio increases with the level of the GMA.

Quite a list. I have also remarked on the noted increase in car accidents and in hospitalizations due to psychiatric disturbances.

So there is no question these solar storms do affect us, probably more that we realize.

You can read more about solar weather and the possibility of yet another global scale disaster at the NASA website, here:

Meantime, I propose a new speciality of bio-geology. I’ll be writing about it more in newer edition of “Virtual Medicine”. The present edition is reviewed here:

It’s never ending. Whatever the phoney scientists want to claim about safety, there is no doubt that many people suffer extreme electrical and magnetic sensitivity, brought on by being drenched in microwave radiation from cell phones and the antennas.

If you haven’t seen my blog yet showing 24 hours of cell-phone use is equivalent to 1,600 chest x-rays in dose, then it’s time you got this info. Wise up! Here’s the link.

The GOOD NEWS is that we can at least partially protect ourselves. There are lots of devices which claim to offer protection. Now a protector I have featured in my teleseminar series has got some great blood tests to back it up.

The device is called the Cell Phone Guardian and their site is here:

Take me to the Cell Phone Guardian page

See those photographs of blood changes, which have been sworn in affidavit as being authentic.

You MUST get one of these devices, they are brilliant. They have other good stuff too. I sit on the protective mat at my computer and simply couldn’t work without it. It’s GREAT for long distance driving too.
