The hoax with mangosteen is that only the pericarp contains any goodness.
The fake science of mangosteen “juice” sold via MLM (Xango etc.) is a complete fraud.
Only the pericarp carries the antioxidant properties.
But, as I am sure you’ve found out, it’s very bitter! Needs lots of sugar.
