Last comment – now that I think about it, I’m sure they planned this from early on in their relationship. No doctor could have kept them alive, no matter what the circumstances. Suicide is an experience and a choice we all have. Some of us know ‘better’ – that it is not a solution and devastates those left behind.

Well of course Doc, you are correct. I’m not a doctor, but I do understand that synthesised drugs do turn off ones own natural drug factory in the hypothalmus and then of course ‘we’ are locked into repeat prescriptions for the rest of our life; wonderful little trick this for the drug companies – who, it seems, have the doctors in their pockets. Its all so last century: this century is being claimed by ‘people’ who are saying “Whats important, is humanity, not profits.” Thank goodness for technologies like SCENAR and COSMODIC (thank you Dr Karasev) that were developed in secret, what?
As for the solutions to happiness – well we all know Buddhist technology has all of these, neatly packaged; no problems. There is a way out for everyone and I am truly sorry for your wife’s friends, for whom everything in the end was just too much. I hope that their passing has some value for those of us remaining. Suicide cannot ever be an escape from suffering.
