This article simply justifies why all of us should remain ignorant about what our body requires. Those who chooses a healthy lifestyle is strugling to focus on their food intake vs what their body requires on a daily dosage. Thats why its called supplementation, to supplement what you can get from those chemically enhanced vegetables & poultry. Remember DOC, what you pour out to the world, changes a lot of mindset towards their health. Some either follow you and some move even more into ignorance.

Thanks for sharing this information, JAMA published back in 2002 that it was prudent that Americans supplement with good quality nutritional supplements because we cannot get the nutrients from our food anymore due to green harvesting, food processing, environmental toxins etc. I know from research a lot of serious illnesses could be downgraded to nutritional deficiencies just like scurvy was. You are 100% correct about the American Dietetic Association. As a dietitian I was a member of this organization for years until I started studying alternative medicine.

This is meant to perpetrate the myth that the US has the best of everything, including the quality of our food and health care. admitting that we may need supplements would be an admission that maybe our food supply is not that good.
