I agree with Mike's analysis of the situation: mass action replacement.
· Use healthy fats to replace oxidized and/or trans- fats.
· Use healthy HDL cholesterol from organic egg yolks to replenish our oxidized cholesterol.
· Use a selenium supplement to counteract the antagonistic effect of arsenic in selenium-based enzyme production.

That is so exciting to read! Here we are essentially observing the law of mass action or Le Chatelier's Principle to take place by adding too much of a "good" thing to our blood stream and allowing a shift in dynamic equilibrium to take place while the plaque is being removed in the process. What's really important I think to recognize from this simple but great illustration of mass action is that there must be many other biochemical or even physical processes that occur within our bodies and our cells in which the law of mass action can also be applied to obtain a far better result than by utilizing a drug with undesirable and unpredictable side effects. The results of this lab experiment really makes me think and perhaps can be the beginning and launching of a whole new field or application of medicine and physiology. By applying the law of mass action to a number of physiological imbalances, one with knowledge in the field can perhaps easily correct a given pathological condition by adding too much of a specific chemical component to forcefully shift the temporary nonequilibrium state back to equilibrium while removing the toxic agent in play from the body or just by temporarily getting the body back to a "normal" state so that the body learns to remain there.

My 88 year old diabetic sister has been prescribed a statin drug. What nonsense is that?
I do wonder if the drug was prescribed BEFORE she developed diabetes.

Her faith in doctors is much stronger than mine so I did not question her.
