Belle,
I have been diagnosed with lipedema by one of the leading specialists in the condition. I am very knowledgable of the condition.
You are incorrect. The liver is sometime affected in lipedema patients and very often affected in lipo-lymphedema cases. Google it.

Wouldn't a 500 calorie diet cause your body to believe you are starving and start mechanisms for self preservation which would then cause you to gain weight when you start eating normally? Also, doesn't a 500 calorie diet lead both macro and micronutrient deficiencies?

Thank you for your time in this matter.

Marie,
This is not really the time or place to do "consultations". This is a blog! I can only discuss general cases.
The hormone drops are quite safe with the conditions you describe. Yes, it will remove good and bad fat.
But if you are in toxic overload, do be sure to take other measures than just weight loss.
Note excess fat deposits, lipomas, dyslipidemia etc. is a sure sign of liver overload. You will learn more about this in my eBook:

Hi,
I had severe adrenal and glucocorticoid insufficiency 2 years ago. The labs said they were the lowest numbers ever seen on a 24 hour urine hormone panel, although ACTH blood stim was on the normal to low side. I also have a fat disorder, hormonal, called lipedema which my Physician feels was caused by the adrenal problems. The lipedema has progressed to involve lymphedem and chronic venous insufficiency. Would this diet help to move the diseased lipedema fat out of the system? Is it safe with the hormonal problems I still have? Thank you very much for your time. My Physician is not familiar with this diet at all so asked me to post here for your expert guidance.

In reply to <a href="https://alternative-doctor.com/lose-10-50-lbs-or-more-without-feeling-hungry/#comment-1418">Carol</a>.

Hi Carol,
Good question. A woman in my family had a pituitary tumor years ago. It was cured with nutrition. But taking HCG she felt the old "symptoms" coming back and we decided it was safer to stop.
I think the answer is that if your tumor was a hormone-dependent one, you should proceed with caution and it depends on your blood makers etc.
Non-dependent tumors I see no real problem.
But you must talk it over with your licensed health-care provider.
