Might You Suffer From Digital Dementia?
We’ve all seen those pictures of silly people out “at lunch” with friends, but really ignoring each other and just playing with cell phones.
Maybe you’re already like that?... no, of course not.
But we all spend a deal of time playing with digital gadgets these days and the problem with that is that we are NOT digital organisms; we are “analogue”. Digital clips our biology in a very incoherent and UN-natural way.
I notice it even in a hotel room with a digital clock; I try to anticipate when the numbers will roll over. It always takes longer than I think. But it is also EXTREMELY demanding and telling yourself not to do it is a bit like saying “try not to think of an elephant”. What happens? You think of an elephant… you can’t help yourself!
Unfortunately, for some, it’s far worse than this. A condition called “digital dementia’ is starting to emerge, it’s real and it’s pernicious.
Digital dementia is characterized as the deterioration of brain function as a result of the overuse of digital technology, such as computers, smart phones and Internet use in general. This excess use of technology leads to unbalanced brain development, as heavy users are more likely to overdevelop their left brains, leaving their right brains underdeveloped.
Common symptoms of digital dementia include memory problems, shortened attention spans and emotional flattening.
According to experts, this disorder has become a significant problem in South Korea, which is home to the world’s largest population of Internet users. The World Bank found that 83.8 percent of South Koreans have Internet access, and The Wall Street Journal estimated that 85 percent of the country’s population will have smartphones by 2017.
Numerous clinics have been established in South Korea to address digital dementia, that’s how bad things are, when left unchecked. Many experts have called for Internet addiction to be classified as a mental disorder and that it should be treated as a major public health issue.
We could all go that way in the end. Except….
There is a way to prevent it happening. See, digital dementia is caused by becoming extremely left-brained linear and in a yes-no, binaural or anti-intuitive state of mind.
The solution is to even up right and left brains and I know a great way to do that. It’s with an amazing device called the Master Key from the New Reality company. It’s brain entrainment of the highest caliber, meaning balancing right and left brain hemispheres. I’ve got one and I can definitely feel the difference when I use it (I don’t want to be disingenuous… I actually recorded some fabulous tracks for them mysel. But I am also a user!)
This goes way beyond binaural beats, by the way. It’s patented technology, adding what’s called frequency following, sonorous beautiful music and guided relaxation imagery. Four different ways of soothing and integrating your tired and troubled brain (assaulted brain). It was first called Creative Visualization and Relaxation but is now better termed Transformational Guided Imagery (TGI).
I’ve done some guided tracks using powerful imagination “mind journeys”, out into the Cosmos, to Atlantis and Avalon, touching Gaia, speaking with Higher Power, plus a number of others, including my Love-Gratitude-Forgiveness set.
In addition to my dulcet tones, there are some real international stars, such as Lisa Nichols, Bob Procter and the indefatigable Deepak Chopra. There is a feast of voices and subjects to take you deep into the mind universe, where the brain is left behind altogether.
I love this technology. It’s one of the biggest health breakthroughs I know and very superior to other offerings of this type you can find on the Internet. I’ve had my Master Key for a year now and before that it’s predecessor, the PAL device (personal accelerated learning).
Forget the “me-too” stuff; this is the real deal.
Watch my short video demonstrating it and go get yourself a device. You can turn the clock back years or even decades, to a time when the world was calmer and more peaceful, before the electronic and digital “noise” that jags our brains every day.
