I have a background of clinical neurosurgery before my training in nutritional medicine. The modern stealth virus was preceded by the idea of slow virus infections. I hope new findings will clear this subject in a near future.

I have Paget’s Disease. It was discovered in my early 70’s ( I am now 78 ) from a bone scan after a car accident.
I can relate to the possible link with canine distemper.
During my childhood I had one dog only as a pet.
The dog ‘went mad’ & soon after my parents told me that he had been ‘given away’ because of his ‘madness’. When I look back, I can see a possible link(?)
In those days of course dogs didn’t have vaccinations as they do now.
Thank you also to David & Yvette for the information on Silver & the book references.
I will follow these links too, as I also have a ‘lurking’ varicella virus from a ‘Shingles’ attack (early 70’s again) Another link- ‘Moooooo……………..?”

I am a clinical nutritionist with a side specialty in nutrition and first aid remedies for overseas travel. As such, I have access to a number of professional websites which include teleseminars on recent research. One recent seminar was very interesting. It was about a new silver technology called “silversol”. The website for their research is silversol.info . They claim to have a 100% kill rate against certain viruses such as the HPV virus and also certain diseases such as malaria. We’ll see, but the research looks interesting. This is a very different technology from “colloidal silver”.

I haven’t read that, but Gordon Pedersen is the guy behind ABL (American Biotech Labs). They sell a silver supplements under many names (Silver Sol, ASAP, Guardian, and some others). They are all the same product except in different concentrations. If you believe their patent (which I cannot gaurantee is true, but I believe it), their product contains 97% of the mass of silver in metallic silver particles roughly 1o nanometers in size. These particles are then coated by a silver compound called Ag4O4. This product has been clinically studied by them. I have some references regarding this product in my book. In Africa, they treated 124 cases of various infections. All recovered completely. 54 of those cases were malaria. Most all were well in 2 or 3 days.

So the stuff works. But is it better than other silver supplements available? There is no side by side comparison to be sure, but I personally am skeptical it is any more effective than the stuff you can make at home yourself for pennies a day.

I have a mind to develop a couple new silver supplements actually. It will take me years, but if I succeed, you will hear about it on my blog.

One is silver loaded zeolite. Zeolites do cation exchange. In theory, they can carry silver ions AS IONS and swap them out in the body. Ions are the most powerful form of silver, but are the hardest to deliver to the body because they immediately find something to react with.

The other thing is that someone has discovered a new tweak to the electrolysis process that is used to make most “colloidal silver”. Most CS is basically silver ions (Ag+) dissolved in water, and cannot at present exceed about 22 PPM. This guy has successfully made 40PPM, and I think with further trial and error, maybe much higher can be achieved. Concentration is a critical factor in effectiveness. The current ordinary CS people use certainly does not cure everything, so we need to keep pushing it.
