Been on Apatone for almost two years after my prostectomy for prostate cancer. I am fortunate that my wife is involved in the research. I was diagnosed at 57 after a rise in my PSA from my routine physical. My PSA was never abnormal just but did rise signicantly from one year to the next. I did have radiation due to one positive surgical margin and a slight rise in my PSA 6 months after surgery. I am doing fine and my PSA is remaining virtually undetected. I am lucky that my Urologist was open to the idea of Apatone, most are not. I am truly baffeled that Physicians are closed minded about certain ideas even when conventional treatment is not working.
