Where The Holistic Rubber Meets The Scientific Road

Dr. Keith’s Own® ROLLS-ROYCE Vitamin C

You Have To Try This Stuff.
It’s Amazing!

I’m not going to waste time telling you the health benefits of vitamin C. If you haven’t grasped how truly valuable it is to health, I’m worried for you!

We can’t make our own (which is why it’s a vitamin or VITal AMINe). We’d quickly die of scurvy without it. But most animals make their own, inside their bodies. Goat’s for example make about 12 grams a day.

Let’s assume for the sake of argument that Mother Nature knows what she is doing (joke)… we’re about the same size as a goat, give or take. So we NEED 10 -12 grams a day, optimally.

But what do the government scientists and dodo dietician’s recommend?

40 mg a day in the UK! In the US, that was 60 mg but it’s been put up to 90 mg/day for men and 75 mg/day for women.

For smokers, they increase the recommended intake by a measly 35 mg/day (that’s 125 mg for a man). What?

That’s one hundred times less than Mother Nature thinks is right for a goat! Do you get my horror and annoyance here, that this nonsense is being taught as official, “correct”, proper dose, scientific, and so on.

It’s about as stupid as insisting we all eat 6 – 10 candy bars a day! It’s just not healthy. In fact it’s dangerous.

Vitamin C is Marvelously Strange

Vitamin C is totally a weird substance: at 50 – 60 mg a day, it works to stop scurvy. Such a tiny amount prevents one of history’s deadliest diseases.

Yet at HUGE intakes of around 100 – 200 grams (100,000 mg to 200,000 mg) it’s not toxic. In fact it can be life saving.

You’ve all read the stories; you know the work of Frederick R. Klenner MD; you’ve seen the amazing “60 Minutes” TV slot of New Zealand farmer Alan Smith, brought back from the dead, when doctors were insisting on turning off his life support machine!

But the trouble with taking the big doses required for such miracles is that it’s seriously yuck! It makes you pucker worse than sucking a lime or lemon!

Worse than that: vitamin C powder gives you the runs (loose bowel). Most people can’t tolerate more than a few grams at a time, for that reason.

Well, I’ve solved it for you!

I’ve found a preparation that allows us to tolerate big doses of vitamin C, without that nasty bowel intolerance effect. I call it Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C.

You’ll love it.

Fill and Flush

Do you remember the technique we used to teach: take bigger and bigger doses of vitamin C powder, till you get the sh*ts, and then cut back to just less than that.

I mean: Primitive! But that was the best we knew back in the 70s and 80s.

Now there is a total answer, without bowel disturbance. That’s Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C.

Some Good Things It Does

Proof of these later: but for now…

I can’t promise to get rid of your aging skin wrinkles. But I can tell you some people have been mighty pleased with how much they faded, with taking vitamin C. Why should it help wrinkles?

  • Because vitamin C involved in collagen formation. Collagen is what gives firmness and texture to skin.
  • Vitamin C acts as an analgesic (probably why animals don’t hurt too much if they break a leg or get cut).
  • Vitamin C blocked the damaging effect of free radicals on neutrophil immune cells.
  • A study from Delhi (India) showed high-dose vitamin C eradicates cholesterol from artery walls. Heck, you wouldn’t even be allowed to DO such a test in the West. Not under the eye of Big Pharma!

NOTE: I am not supplying you with “high dose” vitamin C. I’d get busted! I am supplying you with a form of vitamin C where you can take as much as you like and you won’t feel yuck or get diarrhea.

It’s up to you how much you take!

But you’ll be able to tolerate SCOOPFULS of this stuff, if you are in pain or fighting an infection.

That’s why I believe Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C should be in everyone’s medicine cupboard: a couple of tubs on standby, maybe.

So What Is Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C?

It’s vitamin C specially formulated with a firmly attached sodium molecule; GMS ribose; and CellSense™ metabolites. Let’s look at what this means:

Vitamin C in the sodium form (sodium ascorbate) has long been the form of vitamin C used by holistic physicians (me included) for intravenous infusions. But for oral use, we need something more; ascorbate is not well-tolerated by mouth:

Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C is a special crystal form with a fully and uniquely attached sodium molecule that is buffered with a non-acidic, neutral pH, and definitely eliminates, or greatly reduces, the normal intestinal distress (diarrhea) that occurs with some individuals taking large amounts of vitamin C.

Each gram (1000 mg) of vitamin C activity from Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C provides only 120 mg of elemental sodium. That’s not enough to drive up your blood pressure! (upper safe limit is 2,300 mg daily)

This product has been further enhanced with an amount of BEET RNA™ metabolites, complexed with organic sulfur, to enable better absorbability and bioavailability (* B.E.E.T. stands for Bioavaiability Enhanced Electron Transfer*). It helps in all sorts of ways that I just accept from the scientists! Energy production (ATP), stress (cortisol regulation and recovery), tolerance of environmental toxins and other attacks on our precious immune system, some anti-aging thrown in, and the normal, common conditions associated with the different stages of life.

[Understand I’m trying to make complex science more understandable for you. If this gives you indigestion, just skip a few sections. Or trust me and go buy some! I take it myself!]

The point is the BEET RNA™ metabolites taken with Vitamin C have shown to enhance the plasma uptake by more than 30%. Eventually, I think it will be higher and I’ll report back as the planned studies emerge.

I’m sure you’ve heard of ribose: it’s a sugar (tastes a little bit sweet but won’t rot your teeth!). It gives Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C its nice friendly taste.

GMS Ribose™ means glycine-methyl-sulfone ribose. It’s a proprietary blend of methylated glycine compounded with sulfur-rich methyl sulfone (you know, MSM!) in a base of D-ribose with BioActiv™ aloe.

Don’t worry too much about what that means. But it is all good stuff and a real game changer. It comes down to metabolism pathways…

Clever Pathways Of Absorption

Normally both glucose and vitamin C are taken up by the glucose pathway.

Many other nutrients share the same transport mechanism too and that may lead to important nutrients being bottlenecked.

But Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C with GMS Ribose and B.E.E.T.-RNA™ metabolites does not use the glucose pathway exclusively for transport but uses multiple, entirely different, separate and unique pathways to the cell.

In other words, Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C does not have to “wait in line” to be absorbed into the cell.

But it gets better: my GMS ribose with BEET RNA™ metabolites Super C formula includes a “thio” source, one of the most active and bioavailable sources of fundamental sulfur known.

(thio- is an old Greek word meaning sulfur is present).

We already know that organic sulfur makes low cellular vitamin C levels work more efficiently.

We therefore, theoretically, appear to have an approach for Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C to enter the cell from several pathways or “gates” (a patented technology called MultiGate™ Technology), ie:

  • the glucose pathway
  • the pentose-phosphate pathway
  • the sodium pathway

And all with organic sulfur enhancement.

The Cosmetic Effect

Organic sulfur is an important nutrient, used by the body for healthy and proper enzyme activity and natural hormone balance. Methyl-sulfone is a natural form of organic sulfur found in all living organisms, including human body fluids and tissues. Sulfur along with vitamin C is necessary for making collagen, the primary constituent of cartilage and connective tissue.

Good connective tissue means firmer skin and tissues.

The body never stops making new cells and tests conducted with animals showed wound healing occurred even faster with both organic sulfur and Vitamin C supplementation than just vitamin C alone.

Thio-Sulfur is also necessary for catalytic functions of many enzymes as they work to enhance Vitamin C and is thought to be more important in the anti-oxidant network and enhancing of nutrient uptake to the cell than previously understood.

As I said, this is a bit of scientific indigestion. But I do know I have a lot of subscribers who are practitioners and want more than just the basics. They need to understand why Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C is so good!

And there you have it.

Those knowledgeable in the use of vitamin C, will recognize immediately when they drink a teaspoonful of my specially designed formula Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C in water or beverage with its fully and uniquely attached sodium molecule and GMS Ribose™ metabolites and bio-active sulfur, that finally at last, we have an ultra-pleasant, well-tolerated, tasteless, wonderfully therapeutic, high potency Vitamin C drink.

Vitamin C Kills Pain

“I have found that Vitamin C (as a nutrient) acts as a good analgesic. I always recommend it in cases of neuralgia like problems that animals seem to develop at the onset of winter,” states Dr. Wendell Belfield, now retired, author of the published paper on “Chronic Subclinical Scurvy and Canine Hip Dysplasia in dogs”, owner and director of Bel-Mar Orthomolecular Veterinary Hospital, San Jose Ca. He also reports Dr James Greenwood Jr. Professor of Neuro-Surgery Baylor College of Medicine has been recommending 2 to 10 grams per day to diminish the pain and swelling of osteoarthritis. He notes “I don’t think scientists know how Vitamin C actually eliminates pain. Again, all we know is that it works.”

In his Book “How to have a Healthier Dog,” Dr. Belfield refers to the internal use of Vitamin C and they are his personal comments.

According to an article in the Journal of Translational Medicine, published online, the prevalence of vitamin C deficiency is high in various patient groups, such as surgical/trauma, infectious diseases and cancer patients.

A number of recent clinical studies have shown that vitamin C administration to patients with chronic regional pain syndrome decreases their symptoms. Acute herpetic and post-herpetic neuralgia is also diminished with high dose vitamin C administration. Furthermore, cancer-related pain is decreased with high dose vitamin C, contributing to enhanced patient quality of life.

Also, studies show a decreased requirement for opioid analgesics in surgical and cancer patients administered high dose vitamin C.1

We are in the middle of an opioid crisis, you may be aware. How many doctors, I wonder, are unaware that vitamin C greatly lowers pain levels?

Not many, I’m sure.

(Notice that musculoskeletal pain is one of the important and unpleasant symptoms of scurvy; the vitamin C deficiency disease. It’s logical therefore that it helps pain to RESTORE levels).

Better to have plenty of vitamin C standing by. Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C is by far the best absorbed form and the most pleasantly tolerated. Better in your medicine cupboard than Vicodin or Oxycontin!

Vitamin C the Stress Buster!

According to an article in “Psychology Today”, people who have high levels of vitamin C do not show the expected mental and physical signs of stress when subjected to acute psychological challenges. What’s more, they bounce back from stressful situations faster than people with low levels of vitamin C in their blood.

In one study German researchers subjected 120 people to a sure-fire stressor—a public speaking task combined with math problems. Half of those studied were given 1,000 mg of vitamin C. Physiological signs of stress, such as elevated levels of the stress hormone cortisol and high blood pressure were significantly greater in those who did not get the vitamin supplement. Those who got vitamin C reported that they felt less stressed.

The researchers believe that vitamin C should be considered an essential part of stress management.

Earlier studies showed that vitamin C abolished secretion of cortisol in animals that had been subjected to repeated stress.

Cortisol is the “stress hormone”, associated with for the “fight or flight” response to stress. But like many emergency-alert systems, the stress response comes at a considerable cost.

Among other effects, frequent exposure to high levels of stress hormones exhausts the body’s physical resources, impairs learning and memory, and makes people susceptible to depression.

In the animal studies, vitamin C fed to rats undergoing stress not only prevented the expected increase in cortisol levels, it prevented the animals from exhibiting the known signs of physical and emotional stress. Animals that did not receive vitamin C had three times the level of stress hormones.2

That’s another reason to have plenty of spare tubs of Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C in the house. Use it!

Stupid Disinformation About Synthetic Vitamin C

All therapeutic vitamin C is synthetic. To confound matters there are clowns like chiropracter Tim O’Shea claiming that ascorbic acid is not the same as vitamin C. Oh yes it is. I think he’s frightened by the word “acid” maybe!

All therapeutic preparations of vitamin C are manufactured ascorbic acid. Get real! You need something like 50 grams IV for any serious holistic intervention. I’ve given thousands of doses. O’Shea has given none, clearly.

If you took your vitamin C as berries or oranges (doesn’t work because most fruits are seriously deficient in vitamin C—but say this was 50 years ago, when you could get real fresh fruit)—there’s about 60 mg in an orange. Or about 2,500 oranges to get the same therapeutic dose as an IV!

OK, let’s suppose we take it as a juice. That’s better: about 120 mg in 8 ounces of OJ. So to get 50 grams you’d need over 400 glasses of OJ.

Ain’t gonna happen O’Shea, not without manufacturing it. So will you please knock off this crazy disinformation you are spreading!

Let Me Sum Up Why We ALL Need Vitamin C

We all need vitamin C, we would die without out.

Despite ridiculous low recommendations of healthy levels, it’s clear we all need about 10 grams a day (similar to a goat).

You couldn’t swallow that. It’s sour and you would likely get diarrhea.

Taking Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C means you can swallow as much as you like! It’s buffered and mixed with super absorption ingredients, like organic sulfur, GMS ribose and BEET RNA™ metabolites, to maximize absorption. It also reduces the gut distress and so it tastes good, slightly sweet, without rotting your teeth and without triggering the diabetes cascade of sugar present in the body.

It stores well but is highly active chemically, so it will gradually turn brown.

THAT DOES NOT AFFECT ITS POTENCY. It’s just something that ribose and vitamin C do, when they get together!

Once opened, consume it daily.

Take Dr. Keith’s Own® Super C for pain, stress, cosmetic enhancement and general good health. You need WAY more than the official recommendations. Take it by the scoopful. You should be able to tolerate 2 -3 scoopfuls easily.

Have a couple of tubs standing by, in case of infection, aches and pains, unexpected stress and occasional body overload.

Vitamin C really is remarkable: effective at tiny doses, such as 50 – 90 mgms, as a vitamin. And life-saving at 50 – 200 GRAMS (50,000-200,000 mgms), with no significant side-effects.
