After years of attack and hassle, Stanislaw R. Burzynski, M.D., Ph.D is finally coming out on top, with a major alternative cancer treatment. He not only didn’t get shot or bankrupted; the FDA have agreed to work with him and his anti-neoplastons therapy!
The following is the lightly-edited text of a press release sent out last week by the Burzynski Research Institute, announcing the agreement:
The Burzynski Research Institute, Inc. (BRI) announced that it has reached an agreement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that enables the company to move forward immediately with a pivotal Phase III clinical trial of combination antineoplaston therapy plus radiation therapy in patients with diffuse, intrinsic brainstem glioma. Antineoplaston therapy (ANP) uses a synthetic version of naturally occurring peptides and amino acid derivatives found in the human body to target and control cancer cells without destroying normal cells. The agreement was made under the FDA’s Special Protocol Assessment (SPA) procedure and means that the design and planned analysis of the Phase III study is acceptable to support a regulatory submission seeking new drug approval.
"We are very pleased by our agreement with the FDA to move forward with a confirmatory study on a type of tumor that has shown itself to be highly treatment resistant and challenged further by severely limited treatment options and clinical trials that could expand and discover new, efficacious therapies," said Stanislaw R. Burzynski, M.D., Ph.D. "The SPA agreement puts antineoplaston therapy further down a straight path to regulatory approval, enabling the kind of study that should prove its merits as another option to cancer management."
"BRI has reached this important milestone independently without financial backing from the government, and without a major pharmaceutical partner-a unique accomplishment in the oncology field. From inception, we have been committed to developing a targeted gene therapy option that is less aggressive on the body than conventional therapies and have made considerable progress on the steps mandated by the FDA to bring a new drug to a patient community and cancer type that has unmet needs."
The primary objective of this randomized study is to compare overall survival of children with newly-diagnosed diffuse intrinsic brainstem glioma (DBSG) who receive combination antineoplaston therapy plus radiation therapy (RT) versus RT alone.
"DBSG are considered to be one of the most difficult types of cancer to treat. It combines highly malignant characteristics with the very difficult location of the brainstem. It’s inoperable because it involves the brainstem. The number of children in the U.S. with brainstem gliomas is approximately 660. Absent treatment, the survival rate from time of diagnosis is six months or less.
At present, there are no standard curative treatments for the disease. RT is the only treatment that may slow its progress, but at two years 93% of children with this type of cancer die. 5-year survival is zero. Other conventional treatments such as chemotherapy have generally been tried in clinical trials but are shown to be ineffective.
I use alternative therapies in my clinic in Taipei , Taiwan for the difficuty cases including cancer and many chronic diseases over the past decade. The results of their treatment is better than the using allopathic therapy only.
My treatment protocol including biological remedies made in Germany and Switzerland. In which remedies are legal in these and Europe countries. Unfortunately, I have to face the charges against Taiwan and the trial justice. Rather ironically, I was taught as a doctor must do his best and to use everything he can to help and to cure patients. I do think it is unfair to me to face the judicial prosecution.
I would like to seek the international supports to defend myself in order to protect my reputation of my life. And the more importantly, I hope that the natural medicine and alternative medicine have the reasonable and fair environment for the future development in Taiwan.
The naked TRUTH is that the FDA and the cancer complex milking and bilking 250 billion dollars per year worldwide with the rackets that are the orthodox treatments with the help of the FDA and the US government try to crush any new research. I accuse formally the FDA and most oncologs to be mass murderers. They prefer to murder each year millions of people than ruin their juicy business based on poisons that give cancer and kill you. Check the real statistics about oncology. 95% of cancer patients die not because of the cancer itself ! but because ot the treatments by the doctors !

But you are excessive with your language, for someone who hasn’t actually treated cancer patients.
There have been recoveries on (or despite) orthodox treatment. There are currently 12 million survivors of chemo in the USA alone.
On the other hand, I know of people who have died rapidly and miserably trying alternative therapies (particularly the ones I warn people about in my book).
Now I am very careful with my words and do not say or imply they would have survived if they had had chemo.
But the bottom line is for people to be informed and then make their own choice.
Remember the principle of chemo is only the same as IV vitamin C, when I give it: which is to kill cancer cells without killing the patient.
Unfortunately, the gap with chemo is so small it makes it dangerous to get the right dose.
Vitamin C on the other hand has a wide safety margin – it’s almost impossible to hurt somebody with it.
And to finish: I know holistic practitioners who were greedy and incompetent and went on treating patients they couldn’t help, just to get the money, and the patient then died.
How many dollars are invested in prevention of cancer ? About nothing. And when some courageous and independent minded doctors find interesting things that work like enzymes therapy combined with nutritionnal approach and detoxification ? Well the establishment sabotages it. Dr Burzynski. Dr Nicholas Gonzalez and many others. The NCI and the FDA are totally biased and criminal in their behaviour. The reason ? Most of your orthodox therapies are far way lucrative for the Big Pharma and the doctors. Some oncologs make 80% of the revenues by selling the drugs. Incredible conflict of interest. The scales on my eyes fell this year when I started reading about John Beards discoveries made 110 years ago about enzymatic therapy with pancreatic enzymes and the SYSTEMATIC refusal by the NCI to finance serious and unbiased research. The clinical studies done on Burzynski peptide enxymes and Gonzales nutritionnal and pencreatic enzymes were a total farce. And these two doctors are not alone. The Cancer Industry makes way to much money and profits to change anything and the War on Cancer has been a total joke when people have litterally ruin and bankrupt themselves to live a couple of more years or months. Meanwhile low cost solutions and prevention are utterly ignored or even banned but not based on scientific basis but because it threatens Wall Street and their proprosterous profits.
